Siobhan MorrisseyMorrissey provides a unique perspective combining art and law. An attorney and art collector for more than a decade, Morrissey now works as an appraiser of fine arts according to the rigorous standards established by the American Society of Appraisers. She is a graduate of Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service and the University of Miami School of Law, where she graduated with honors. A member in good standing with the Florida Bar since 1996, Morrissey served as an Assistant State Attorney in Miami during the late 1990s, where she won dozens of trials, wrote appellate briefs and lectured the FBI on trial preparation. Morrissey has explored, among other art-related subjects, the world of art forgery, the prolific paintings of Romero Britto, and the politics of Art Spiegelman, who used a New Yorker cover to further race relations. The Washington Post also featured her work, including a full-page profile of cartoonist and artist Pat Oliphant.
